Oswegoland Park District Code of Conduct
It is the responsibility of the Park District staff to provide each program participant an environment that is safe and secure, therefore, every participant is expected to treat the other participants and Park District staff, volunteers, equipment and facilities with respect.
Anyone using Park District facilities or participating in a Park District program is expected to:
- Be respectful of all participants and staff.
- Take direction from Park District staff, paid and volunteer.
- Refrain from using inappropriate language and/or gestures.
- Refrain from threatening comments, actions, and/or gestures.
- Refrain from any type of harassment and or discrimination.
- Demonstrate tolerance and courtesy toward our diverse community.
- Dress appropriately for programs and events.
To provide facilities and programs that are fun, safe, and enjoyable for everyone, a positive approach will be used regarding discipline. Staff will periodically review rules and expectations with participants during program sessions. If inappropriate behavior occurs, a prompt resolution will be sought that is specific to each situation.
The Oswegoland Park District reserves the right to dismiss anyone whose behavior endangers his or her own safety or the safety of others.
