Jackson Street Sounds
Musicians, Poets, Vocalists, and those who love a good night out, join us for Jackson Street Sounds at the Little White School Museum on Thursday nights. We will have an open mic night for anyone looking for stage time and a chance to show their stuff. Sign-ups for anyone interested in performing begin at 6:00. Each artist has 10 minutes of set time. All levels of skill are welcome. Coffee and baked goods will be available for purchase.

Family Blackhawks Trip
Let the Bunny bring a special surprise for your hockey fan this spring. Don’t let your family miss an Easter Sunday trip to see the team who might bring home the Stanley Cup. A deluxe bus will take us to see the most exciting young team in the National Hockey League take on the Calgary Flames at the United Center. Forget city traffic, parking fees, gas prices, and professional ticket costs; this afternoon is going to be priceless. Limited number of tickets available. Children must be accompanied by a registered adult. This trip makes a great gift for the hockey fans in your family, special gift cards for stockings or baskets available upon request.

Lunch with the Bunny

Flashlight Egg Hunt
Bring your flashlights and join us for this nighttime hunt for eggs. You’ll have a chance to win a great prize like a MP3 player, DVD player, CD, and more! Each participant will go home with a candy bag. Please bring a flashlight and prize bag. The hunt will be held rain or moonshine, so be sure to dress for the weather. Pre-registration required!

Fox River Canoe Trip
Enjoy the beauty of the Fox River! We will float and paddle a scenic 5 mile stretch of the Fox River from Yorkville to Silver Springs State Park. Space is limited for this great event, so register early! We will meet at Freeman’s Canoe Rental in Yorkville. The Park District will provide transportation back to your car at the end of the adventure! (return approx. 2-3 hr.)

Terror Trail Run at Saw Wee Kee
Just Keep Running! We’ve got a four mile run through trails you just don’t see in Illinois. Halfway through this race you won’t know what country you are in or what year it is. You will just know you have to keep running. This race is not for children, the squeamish, or those who imagine people grabbing their feet when they climb the stairs. Cost includes post race eats and a drink after the event and a clean pair of pants. Check in at Pearce’s at Fox Bend Golf Course by 4:30. First heat heads out to course at 5:00. Bring I.D. for check in. Print an entry form.
