PrairieFest is Oswego's four-day community celebration brought to you by the Oswegoland Park District, Allied First Bank, generous business sponsors, civic organizations, and hundreds of volunteers.
Entering its 21st year, the festival is attended by approximately 40,000 during the course of the weekend. PrairieFest events are held throughout Oswego with the main festival grounds located at PrairieFest Park, 91 Plank Road, Oswego IL.
The event features main stage entertainment, children's performers, petting zoos, pony rides, camel rides, free children's activities, and more. There is no gate admission. The event is free compliments of generous business sponsors.
The Expo Village is held on the grounds Friday, Saturday and Sunday of the Fest. Over 200 businesses and crafters promote their services or sell their wares at Oswego's largest event.

Volunteers needed...Join the Team!
Each year PrairieFest organizers recruit 150 volunteers to help direct traffic, greet at the gates, sell tickets, and keep tables washed and the grounds clean.
PrairieFest volunteers are asked to work just one three hour shift sometime during the weekend, leaving plenty of time to enjoy the event with family and friends. Each volunteer is given a "We Sweat the Small Stuff" volunteer shirt to wear during their shift. This is a great way to give back to your community, meet new friends, and feel a part of Oswegoland's hometown celebration. Volunteer online!
