Optimist Club
"To think only of the best, to work only for the best, and
to expect only the best" is the heart of the Optimist Club's
creed. With well over one hundred members contributing time and
talents, Optimist projects include the Festival of Brass Drum
& Bugle Corp Show, Panther Reading Club, Oswego Family Christmas
Project, and the annual Easter Egg Hunt, to name just a few. These
and other fundraising projects allowed the club to contribute
$35,000 last year to over twenty youth programs in the Oswegoland
area, touching the lives of 9,000 kids! If you are interested

Rotary Club
The Rotary Club of Oswego was chartered
in February, 2003. The main objective of Rotary is service —
in the community, in the workplace, and throughout the world.
Rotarians encourage high ethical standards in all vocations, and
support programs for youth, educational opportunities and international
exchanges for students, teachers, and other professionals, and
vocational and career development. The Rotary motto is Service

Woman's Civic Club
The Oswegoland Woman's Civic Club was organized in 1928 to enrich
the community. They are involved in the welfare of our community's
children, activities at the Tillers Nursing Home and other community

Mothers & More is a non-profit organization dedicated to improving
the lives of mothers through support, education, and advocacy.
The Oswego area Mothers & More offers Mom's Night Out, Mom

Valley PC Association
An organization of personal computer users formed to help others
effectively operate their computers. Monthly meetings and a newsletter
present up-to-date information on the latest computers, peripherals,

Toastmasters International
A non-profit educational organization devoted to making effective
oral communication a worldwide reality, Toastmasters International
helps men and women learn the art of speaking. The Oswego Toastmasters
Club meets 7:00-8:30 pm on the first and third Tuesdays of each
month at the Little White School House Museum in Oswego. Anyone interested in improving his or her
personal communication and leadership skills is encouraged to

Futures
Learn new songs, games, and stories while you spend special time
with your child! Playgroups provide a great opportunity to meet
new people and talk about concerns you may have in the important
job of bringing up baby! All infants & toddlers with parent
or caregiver are welcome. Playgroups are led by Parent Educators
from the Oswego School District. There is no fee and pre-registration

Century Woman's Club
The Nineteenth Century Woman's Club of Oswego was organized in
1893. The club is affiliated with the General Federation of Womens'
Club, Illinois. It supports projects locally through the schools
and the Oswego Public Library, as well as nationally and worldwide.

Boulder Hill and Oswego Antique Study
Group
The Boulder Hill and Oswego Antique Study Group was organized
in 1964. The members learn to evaluate and recognize the authenticity
of antiques and explore their history. This diverse group is both
educational and community-oriented, and meets the first Wednesday
of the month September - May. Anyone in the Oswegoland area is

The Kendall County Association for Home and Community Education
educates its members through programs of interest to the family
and community. This organization co-sponsors the Town and Country
